Who we are

Mintlytic is the legal business responsible for this service and is the data controller for your personal data. When this notice says "we", "us" or "our", it means Mintlytic.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address and sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider.
  • Profile and preferences. Experience level, interests, followed projects and notification settings you choose.
  • Activity in the app. Saved opportunities, their status, and alerts you have read.
  • AI Check submissions. The text, link or address you paste in, so the analysis can be produced and shown back to you.
  • Device and log data. IP address, browser type and device identifiers collected automatically for security and service reliability.

We never ask for and never store seed phrases, private keys or wallet passwords, and we do not connect to your wallet.

Why we use it and legal basis

  • Contract performance. To create and manage your account, personalise your feed and Radar, deliver the AI analysis you request, and operate the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests. To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, improve features, and send service-related notifications.
  • Consent. For optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time in your profile settings or by contacting us.
  • Legal obligation. To comply with applicable laws or respond to lawful requests.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share only what is necessary with the service providers that run Mintlytic:

  • Our hosting and database provider, which stores and processes account and app data.
  • Our authentication provider, which verifies sign-ins.
  • The AI provider that processes the text you submit for analysis. Content you submit to AI Check is sent to that provider solely to produce your result.
  • Paddle.com. When you subscribe to Mintlytic Pro, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for our orders. We share transaction and billing information with Paddle so they can process payments, manage subscriptions, handle tax and invoicing, and provide customer support for the purchase.
  • Professional advisers (such as legal and accounting firms) and authorities where required by law.

How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to those who need the data to operate the service, and regular review of our infrastructure.

Retention

Account, profile and saved items are kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and the items tied to it.

Your rights and choices

  • Update your profile, interests and followed projects at any time.
  • Turn notification types on or off in your profile settings.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data, or for your account to be deleted.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent for optional uses.

Storage on your device

Mintlytic stores your sign-in session and small preferences (such as dismissing the install prompt) on your device so you stay signed in and the app behaves consistently. If you install Mintlytic to your home screen, files needed to load the app may also be cached on your device.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain the service. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
